【Expert class】
The length of the match is 5 rounds of 3 minutes each.
If a winner isn't determined in 5 rounds, an unlimited amount of 3-minute extra rounds applies until a winner is decided.
The interval between rounds is 1 minute.
【Freshman class】
The length of the Match is 3 rounds of 3 minutes each.
If a winner isn't determined in 3 rounds, amount of 3-minute maximum 2 extra rounds.
The interval between rounds is 1 minute.
【Starting class】
The length of the Match is 3 rounds of 2 minutes each.
If a winner isn't determined in 3 rounds, amount of 2-minute maximum 1 extra rounds.
The interval between rounds is 1 minute

The score of the match is awarded by the standards as follows ( items (1) - (3) ):
Legal Techniques:
(1) Legal strikes are punching, kicking and kneeing;
Throwing techniques ( such as neck throw, the hip throw, the suplex and so on ) ;
Standing Submission Holds ( such as the arm lock, guillotine choke, Sleeper hold and so on ).
All techniques are judged accordingly to whether or not it inflicted accurate damage.
(2) Order of priority for scoring:
1. Points from Knockdowns / SHOOT points /CATCH points
2. Degree of damage inflicted to the opponent
3. Number of clean hits
4. Aggressiveness degree
The priority follows the order from 1 ( most important ) to 4.
The system works so that the superior fighter always receives 10 points and the inferior fighter have points deducted from 10.
There is a maximum difference of 4 points between the fighters for every round ( 10-6 ) , after which no points are deducted.

As stated in article [7]. |
a.) SHOOT points are awarded when the referee calls "SHOOT" during or right after a throwing technique is applied from the front or the back.
The following conditions must be met:
1.The body of the fighter who is being thrown is held higher than the waist of the fighter applying the throw.
2.Both legs of the fighter being thrown must be taken off the mat.
3.The fighter being thrown must land in the mat on his back.
In the case of a tackle, the waist of the fighter being thrown must be lifted at the height of the chest of the fighter applying the throw.
b.) A CATCH point is awarded when the referee calls "CATCH" during a standing submission hold.
The following conditions must be met:
1.Both fighters have to remain standing.
2.It must be evident that the fighter being held is receiving damage , and is having difficulty to escape the hold..
A break will be called if one or both of the fighters does not have the sole of the feet on the mat .
If the round ends when a CATCH call is on, the fight will continue until the submission hold is escaped.
If during the Submission Hold the fighter being held shows an intention to give up ( either by tap out or by his facial expression ) , the match ends by knock out .
In the final round , however , the match will be over once the gong sounds.

If a winner isn't determined in 5 ( or 3 ) rounds, an unlimited amount of 3-minute extra rounds applies until a winner is decided.
In the extra rounds , the scoring applies only to the round being disputed ( not the total points of the rounds fought so far ). A minimum advantage margin is enough to elect a winner.

(1) There are 3 ringside judges and the referee.
The referee does not participate in judges.
(2) In case of an argument with the fighter or the seconds, the referee has the authority to order them to leave the ring / apron. |
[5] Possible Outcomes of the Match |
(1) Decision
When the fight is not decided by knockout, the judges will total the points of each round. The fighter who has more points , as appointed by two or more judges , wins the match .
(2) Knock Out
a.) When a fighter is knocked down , and cannot stand up and take fighting pose within 10 seconds.
If the referee considers the fighter not able or not willing to fight anymore at any moment during the match.
b.) When there is an intension of " giving-up " ( either by tap out of by the fighter’s facial expression ) during a standing submission hold.
c.) When the referee judges that one of the fighters has received too much damage , and stop the match.
d.) When one of the fighters accidentally fall under the ring and cannot return within 20 seconds.
e.) When one of the fighters accidentally fall off the ropes ( apron ) and cannot return within 10 seconds .
f.) When both fighters are knocked down at the same time and don't stand up within 10 seconds, the match ends by double knock out.
In this case article 11 , clause 3 applies.
(3) Technical Knock Out
a.) When the referee judges that it is impossible to continue the match due to accidental injuries . The procedures for injuries are further explained in article 11.
b.) When one of the fighters is knocked down 2 times in one round
c.) When the second throws in the towel during the fight
(4) Doctor Stoppage
a.) When the doctor judges that it is impossible to continue the fight due to injuries from one of the fighters.
(5)No contest ( Invalid Match )
a.) When both fighters violate the rule or do a “ worked ” match.
If the fighters are not demonstrating willingness to fight even after receiving many warnings, the referee can disqualify them and declare the match as “ No Contest “.

[6] Admitted Fighting Techniques |
The following techniques are legal:
Punch: straight, hook, uppercut, back fist, elbow(as agreed by both fighters prior to the match).
Kick: front kick, low kick, middle kick, high kick, sidekick、back kick, jumping kick, knee kick and so on
Throwing techniques: throwing techniques from the front such as the neck throw, sweeping hip throw, one-arm shoulder throw and so on;
Throwing technique from the back such as the backdrop, the suplex and so on.
Standing Submissions: Submissions applied from the standing position such as front choke, arm lock and so on
If during the match an injury is caused by accidental use of illegal techniques , article 11 clause 3 applies.

a)The below techniques / conducts ( (1) from (13) ) are illegal.
An attention call is given for the first use of illegal technique / conduct . Two attention calls results in a warning . 1 point is deducted if a warning is given due to a illegal technique / conduct. If the same fighter uses another illegal technique / conduct , another point is deducted and a final warning is given. If a third warning is given to the same fighter, he is disqualified.
If the referee feels that it was not an intentional violation, he may allow the fight to continue.
(1)Head butts
(2) Groin shots of any sort ( low blows ).
(3) Biting the opponent.
(4) Attacking when the opponent is knocked down or getting up.
(5)Attacking the opponent after the break order from the referee.
(6) Grabbing the ropes for attack or defense.
(7)An act to paint a body with a kind of oil and the vaseline
(8)Insulting or using offensive language or actions when facing the opponent or the referee.
(9)Attacking the back of the head
(10)Intentionally touching the mat with the glove or sitting to avoid being attacked or to defend an attack.
(11)Intentionally trying to make the opponent fall from the ring / throwing the opponent outside the ring .
(12)Intentionally leaving the ring during the match .
(13)The following situations also consists of violations and will
by punished:
a) If the fighter , by any means of conduct , questions the qualifications of the judges he will have points immediately deducted .
b) The act of ducking or lowering the head too much , which raises the probability of head butts occurring.
When either of fighters gets cut due to a head butt , the fighter who caused the cut will have 1 point deducted even it was accidental .
If the referee judges that the head butt was intentional , 2 points are deducted.
If the fighter uses repeated passive holds which are not followed by any attacks , or passive techniques in order to stall the match , the referee will give attention calls , followed by warnings and point deduction .
Grabbing the opponent repeatedly after an attack , or using the tackle repeatedly in order to stall the matches are examples of passive holds and techniques. |
The fighter is disqualified in the following situations. The fight money forfeits 100%
(1)When there is an intentional use of illegal techniques / conduct as declared by the referee .
(2)If the fighter does not follow the referees’s instructions.
(3)If the fighter gets late to enter the ring , or does now show up when announced.
(4)If the fighter has aggresive or disrespectfull conduct during the fight.
(5)If the refeere judges that the fighter has no fighting spirit or is not willing to fight.
(6)If the fighter has 3 points deducted from warnings ( illegal techniques / conducts )
(7)When the doctor judges that it is impossible for the fighter to compete ( in the pre-fight medical check )

When one of fighter is remarkably superior, the referee has the authority to decide the winner at any moment without waiting for the match to end. |
When a fighter is injured, the doctor and the referee will have brief discussion and decide if the match will continue or end. |
When it is impossible to continue the match due to fighter injury , the result is decided based on the following criteria:
(1)When injured by the use of illegal techniques , the referee will call for a break and examine the injured fighter.
If the injured fighter cannot recover , the match ends by disqualification of the fighter who used the illegal technique.
(2)If the injury was caused by imprudence of the injured fighter , he is disqualified.
(3)When the injury is accidental and not caused by neither fighter’s illegal technique / conduct..
a.) If it occurs after the 2nd round is over , the match is considered ended.
If it occurs during of before the 2nd round , the fighter who is in condition to continue wins.
b.) When the match is considered ended , the points for the disputed rounds are totaled and the fighter leading wins. If the points for both fighters total the same , the fighter who is in condition to continue wins. The same criterion applies when the fighter is knocked out after falling from the ring, and when both fighters are knocked out at the same time ( double knock out ).

The fighter or his seconds cannot protest or do any objections to any official pronouncements of the judges or referee.
|
a.) The knock down is defined as the condition one fighter, after being attacked by a legal technique of his opponent , falls down and cannot quickly stand up. ( regardless of damage degree )
b.) The protective count is started after the referee calls “ down “.
c.) The fighter that knocked his opponent down must go to the neutral corner during the protective count , and wait for the referee’s instructions.
d.) If the fighter that knocked his opponent down does not go to the neutral corner as instructed , the referee will hold the count. The count will be resumed when the fighter goes to the neutral corner.
e.) With the exception of the last round , the protective count will continue even if the gong sounds ( end of the round ) . If the fighter who was knocked down does not stand up and take fighting pose within 10 seconds ( to indicate he has recovered from the damage ) , the match ends by knock out. |
a.) Each fighter can have 1 chief and 2 assistants for a total of 3 seconds ringside.
b.) The seconds must stay in their designated place during the rounds.
c.) The seconds shall not touch any part of the ring , mat , ropes or apron during the rounds. .
d.) If the seconds does not follow the above (a)-(c) rules , they may be required to leave the ring area from the judge group. |
[15] Clothes and Fight Equipment |
a.) All 3 seconds shall wear an unified team uniform.
Jeans and regular T-shirts are not allowed.
T-shirts may be allowed if they are part of the team uniform.
b.) The fighters must wear clothes approved by the commission .
c.) The fighter must wear gloves approved by the commission.
d.) The fighter cannot wear any clothing , accessories or equipment without the approval from the commission. |
The fighter cannot use anything on his hands and knuckle other than tape and bandages provided by the promoter.
The tape and bandage must be applied after the fighter arrives at the place where the match will be held.
Tape and bandage put before arriving at the place of the match are not allowed. .
After putting the tape and bandage, the fighter must proceed to the judge group to have them checked and signed.
The fighter shall not remove the bandage or tape until the match ends.
If for any reason the fighter partially removes or replaces the bandage or tape before the match , he must proceed to the bandage check again and have them signed by a judge.
The place of the bandage check will be specified by the judge group in the day of the match . |
Fighters can put a minimum amount of tape to protect knuckle.
Fighters shall not put anything in the knuckle except tape and bandage.
“ Minimum amount “ is defined as the amount agreed by the judge group and both fighter’s trainers before the match.

Fighter shall not use anything except bandage and tape to protect an injured part.
Any tapes or material containing rubber or plastic are prohibited.
When taping and injured part, the doctor and the judge group must check and sign the bandage.If there is no a sign in the tape or bandage , the fighter must remove it.The use of tapes and bandage to cover any injured part after the fight has begun is prohibited. |
[19] Glove and Glove Check |
a.) The fighter will use gloves authorized by the commission .
Glove size varies according to the weight class as follows:
6 ounces / up to 65 kg
8 ounces / 65kg - 75 kg
10 ounces / 75kg-over
b.) Before putting the glove , the fighter must proceed to the glove check and have the tape sealing the glove signed by a judge.
The fighter shall not remove the glove until the end of the match .
If for any reason the tape sealing the glove is removed before the match , a new glove check is necessary to obtain the judge’s sign.
c.) The place of the glove check will be specified by the judge group in the day of the match |
Weight-in is a place of the promoter appointment before an event at 5:00 on a day. Each fighter will weight in the presence of his opponent , as well as his opponent’s manager.
If a fighter exceeds the weight agreed in the contract , he can weight-in again up to three times for every 30 minutes. If the fighter cannot make weight until the end of the weight-in session , he is disqualified. Should this happen, he will be liable to a fine of 70% of travel , accommodation , meal and fight money expenses. |
When the mouthpiece falls from one of the fighter’s mouth during the match , the referee will pick it up and handle it to the second of the fighter when the round ends. |
Fighter can use a minimum amount of Vaseline of on the ears and face.
The use of Vaseline on any other parts of the body is prohibited.
The definition of “ minimum “ is the quantity allowed by the judges.
No other substances such as oil are allowed , and the match will not start if the fighter has too much Vaseline . In this case, the judge will wipe off the excess , and give the first attention call to the fighter before starting the match. |
All fighters must go through medical check before competing.
Once the match is over , fighters must take a second medical check. |
(1) No fighter will be allowed to have an injury treated from the doctor or seconds during the fight.
(2) No fighter will be allowed to receive treatment from the doctor or seconds during the round interval.
(3) No taping to any injuries will be allowed during the interval , as follows in article 18. |
